Baghdad is the capital city. Largest cities of the country include: Dahuk, Samarra, Az Aubayr, Ad Diwaniyah, Ash Shatrah, Ar Ramadi, Zakho, Tall Afar, Karbala, As Samawah, An Nasiriyah, Al Amarah, Al Kut, As Sulaymaniyah, Baqubah, Al Fallujah, Al Hillah, Irbil, Kirkuk, Mosul, An Najaf, Basra.
