Oklahoma is a state of the United States, lying in the south central part of the country. It is border by Texas on the south and west, Kansas on the north, and Arkansas on the east.
The state lies in the Great Plains region, with valleys of the Red river, Canadian river, Arkansas river, Neosho river bisecting the higher raising regions of the Ozark Plateau, Ouachita Mountains, Wichita Mountains. The highest point is Black Mesa, which lies in the far western corner of the state, raising to 1515 meters above sea level.
