Palestine, or the State of Palestine, is a partially recognized state in the Middle East, near the Mediterranean coast. The state consist of two unattached distinct areas, separated by Israel. West Bank is the larger one of the two, lying between Israel and Jordan, north of the Dead Sea, Gaza Strip is a smaller territory on the Mediterranean coast, between Israel and Egypt. Inspite of its considerably smaller size, the population density is much higher than in the West Bank.
The largest city on the Palestine map is Gaza, found in the Gaza Strip, the administrative center is Ramallah in West Bank, while the proclaimed capital is Jerusalem.
